Authentic Hokkaido Ramen in California

Founded in March 2022 in San Marcos, California, Ramen Mik brings the genuine flavors of northern Japan to American shores. In March 2024, we proudly expanded with our second location in Escondido. Hokkaido is famous for four distinct ramen styles from Sapporo, Asahikawa, Hakodate, and Kushiro. Unlike the milky white tonkotsu broth popular in America, Hokkaido specializes in clear pork bone broth (chintan tonkotsu) that's slowly simmered with chicken and seafood.

At Ramen Mik, we serve our ramen with a clear broth made from a blend of pork bones, beef bones, and chicken bones. We're proud to import our noodles and sauce directly from Nishiyama Seimen, a company founded by one of the developers of Sapporo miso ramen.

Our flagship creation features a clear pork bone broth blended with our special miso, delivering the rich, authentic taste of Sapporo. We serve it with stir-fried vegetables, green onions, homemade chashu pork, seasoned soft-boiled egg, and the essential component of Sapporo ramen - freshly grated ginger.
